Detectives investigation the murder of Abdirizak Hassan in Putney have made two further arrests.
[B] A 15-year-old male was arrested on Thursday, 13 May on suspicion of murder and remains in custody.
On Friday, 14 May [C] – a 17-year-old male – was also arrested on suspicion of murder. He remains in custody.
An investigation was launched after police were called at approximately 11:05hrs on Thursday, 6 May following reports of a man found deceased at a residential address in Dowdeswell Close, SW15.
Officers and London Ambulance Service attended. The man, aged 24, had suffered stab injuries.
His next of kin have been informed and formal identification has taken place – he is Abdirizak Hassan. Abdirizak’s family are being supported by specialist officers.
A post-mortem examination took place at St George’s Hospital Mortuary on Saturday, 8 May and gave cause of death as a stab injury.
The investigation into the circumstances by homicide detectives from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command continues.
On Saturday, 8 May a 33-year-old man [A] was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder; he has been bailed pending further enquiries to a date in late May.
