Allegations of gross misconduct against a Police Constable have not been proven.
PC Jack Greenaway, based at Central South Command Unit (AS), appeared at a misconduct hearing on Friday, 30 October.
It was alleged that In December 2018 whilst off duty at a Christmas function, PC Greenaway whilst drunk, made a comment which was a derogatory reference towards his colleague’s ethnicity. This caused upset to his colleague.
He answered allegations that his conduct amounted to breaches of Standards of Professional Behaviour, in respect of equality and diversity, authority, respect and courtesy and discreditable conduct.
All allegations of gross misconduct were found not proven.
