Image issued of man sought following Islington stabbing

Detectives investigating a stabbing in Islington have released an image of a man they wish to identify.

Police were called at 16:50hrs on Friday, 17 June to reports of a stabbing at Northampton Square, EC1.

Officers and London Ambulance Service attended and a 16-year-old male was found on the nearby King Square Estate suffering with a knife wound to the stomach.

The injured boy was taken by London Ambulance Service to a north London hospital where his condition is not life threatening.
