Detectives investigating a fatal collision between a cyclist and a pedestrian in Tower Hamlets have arrested a man.

A 22-year-old man (correct age) was arrested on suspicion of manslaughter and wanton and furious driving after he attended a police station in the early hours of today (July 28).

The arrest follows an appeal put out by the Met to trace the cyclist involved in the collision with 72-year-old Peter McCombie, who died in hospital on 11 July.

The collision took place in Bow Road, E3, near Thames Magistrates' Court on Friday, 3 July.
