Man arrested for assault near Victoria Coach Station
Detectives investigating an assault near Victoria Coach Station have made an arrest.
On the evening of Wednesday, 29 June a 33-year-old man voluntarily attended a west London police station. He was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm and was subsequently released under investigation.
The arrest follows an assault on a man, aged in his 30s, at around 19:50hrs on Saturday, 18 June on Elizabeth Street, SW1. The man was taken to hospital for treatment to injuries before being discharged.
Enquires are ongoing to establish the circumstances. The injured man is Polish, but the incident is not currently being treated as a hate crime.
