A man who was arrested on suspicion of terrorism offences has been released without charge.
The 21-year-old man was arrested on 28 December at a residential address in east London on suspicion of the commission, preparation or instigation of an act of terrorism under Section 40 (1) (b) Terrorism Act (TACT) 2000.
He was detained under TACT and taken to a south London police station and a warrant of further detention was applied for and granted until Saturday, 4 January. After further enquiries, the man was subsequently released without charge on 31 December.
