Man charged with murder in Beckton
A man will appear in court charged with a murder in Beckton.
[B] Ross Pallet – 35 (11.04.87) of Newark Knok, E6 will appear in custody at Thames Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, 5 July charged with the murder of 39-year-old Wayne Potter.
Pallet was arrested by detectives on Monday, 4 July.
Two other people have been arrested as part of this investigation.
[A] A 25-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder on 2 July and [C] a 31-year-old woman was arrested in suspicion of assisting an offender on 4 July. Both have been bailed to return pending further enquiries.

A murder investigation was launched after police were called at 15:49hrs on Saturday, 2 July to reports of a disturbance at a residential address in Newark Knok, E6.
Officers attended and found 39-year-old Wayne Potter who was unresponsive. Despite the efforts of the emergency services, he was pronounced dead at the scene shortly before 17:00hrs.
His next of kin are aware and are being supported by specialist officers.
A special post mortem examination took place on Sunday, 2 July and gave a cause of death as injuries to the head and abdomen.
