Man charged with possession of a firearm and ammunition following Camden shooting

Detectives investigating the discharge of a firearm in Camden on Saturday have charged a man.

Officers were called to the Rosewood London Hotel, High Holborn at 03:56hrs on Saturday, 11 September following reports of shots being fired in the vicinity.

Andrew Cross, 38 (28.01.83) of Station Way, Greenwich, was arrested in connection with the incident on Sunday, 12 September.

On Monday, 13 September he was charged with possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life or to enable another to do so and possession of ammunition with intent to endanger life or to enable another to do so.

He has been remanded in custody and will appear at Highbury Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, 14 September.
