Man who died following altercation in Harrow named as investigation continues

A man who died following an altercation at a pub in Harrow has been formally identified.

He has been named as Graham Howe, 53, from Kenton.


Police were called by London Ambulance Service (LAS) to a pub in Preston Road, Harrow near the junction with Uxendon Crescent at 23:05hrs on Thursday, 30 May.

Paramedics had attended after a 53-year-old man was injured during an altercation that took place inside the pub. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

A post-mortem examination took place on Saturday, 2 June at Northwick Park mortuary and the provisional cause of death was a head injury. Further tests will now be carried out.

A 32-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of murder and taken to a north-west London police station. He has since been bailed to return on a date in late June.

Enquiries into the circumstances continue.
