Misconduct allegations against two officers have been found not proven

It was alleged Police Constable Mark Harris of Central West Command Unit and PC Simon Pascoe of Hampshire Constabulary, but then serving as a Met officer, stopped a male in his vehicle in June 2014 and in doing so breached the standards of professional behaviour in relation to Duties and Responsibilities, Orders and Instructions, Equality and Diversity and Honesty and Integrity.

It was further alleged that PC Harris unlawfully arrested the male and whilst in custody misled the custody sergeant, which resulted in an unlawful drugs search.

A five day public misconduct hearing concluded on Friday, 15 November.

The panel, led by an independent legally qualified chair, found all of the allegations not proven.
