The parents of a 13-year-old girl killed in a collision in Barnet have paid tribute to her.
Victoria Carson was one of two teenagers involved in a collision with a car in Longmore Avenue on Monday, 29 June, at 21:35hrs.
In a statement, Gary and Roxanna Carson, said: “Our family is devastated at the loss of our beautiful daughter, Victoria, who gave so much joy and delight to our lives.
"Victoria was loved dearly by so many of her friends with whom she shared many interests, especially caring for cats and playing tennis.
"We will deeply miss Victoria's smile, her laugh and her energy, but our beautiful, generous daughter will forever remain in our hearts.”
Victoria’s 15-year-old sister [‘Victim 2’] was present when collision occurred. She was shocked but physically uninjured.
The 41-year-old driver of the car stopped at the scene. She was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and taken to a north London police station.
The woman was subsequently charged with causing death by dangerous driving.
Detectives from the Roads and Transport Policing Command are investigating and continue to appeal to anyone with information to contact the Serious Collision Investigation Unit on 020 8246 9820.
