Renewed appeal following stabbing in Clapton

Police have reissued an image of a man they would like to speak with following a stabbing in Clapton.

Detectives appeared on Crimewatch on Friday, 27 September to ask for the public’s help in identifying him.

Officers were called at approximately 14:20hrs on Wednesday, 10 July to reports of a man stabbed inside a shop on Upper Clapton Road, E5.

The London Ambulance Service also attended and the man, aged in his 30s, was taken to hospital for treatment – he has since been discharged.

Officers are keen to identify and speak to the man shown in the CCTV image who is thought to have been involved in this assault.

There have been no arrests and enquiries continue.
