A woman has appeared in court charged with the murder of Sahkira Mercedes Gwendolin Loseke.
Siobhan Collins-Grant, 26, (22.5.1993) of no fixed abode was charged on Friday, 13 September.
She appeared in custody at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court on Saturday, 14 September, and will next appear at the Old Bailey on Tuesday, 17 September.
Police were called at 23:13hrs on Sunday, 8 September to reports of a stabbing on Belmont Street, NW1.
Officers attended and found 22-year-old Sahkira suffering from a stab injury. They immediately provided first aid until the arrival of the London Ambulance Service.
Sahkira was pronounced dead at the scene at 23:55hrs.
A post-mortem examination held on Thursday, 12 September gave cause of death as a single stab wound.
Police arrested Siobhan Collins-Grant [B] on suspicion of murder on Thursday, 12 September. She was taken to an east London police station and charged the following day.
A 35-year-old woman [A] who was previously arrested on suspicion of murder has been released under investigation.
Detectives from the Met's Specialist Crime continue to investigate.
