South London raids lead to 27 people charged

A total of 27 people have been charged with drugs and firearm offences following a series of early morning warrants in south London last week.

A total of 40 simultaneous warrants were executed on Wednesday, 18 September resulting in 28 arrests.

The following have since been charged and were remanded in custody to appear at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, 19 September:-

[A] Lamar Howe, 18 (25.01.2001) of Warminster Road, Croydon was charged with three counts of supplying Class A drugs, namely cocaine.

[B] Reiss Wellington, 23 (27.01.1996) of Sundial Avenue, Croydon was charged with three counts of supplying Class A drugs (MDMA), possession of Class B (cannabis), money laundering, possession of proceeds for criminal conduct on 18 September and acquiring/using/possessing criminal property on 18 September.

Both men have since been remanded in custody to appear at Croydon Crown Court on 17 October.

[C] Tyreece Riggon, 18 (29.09.2000) of Armistice Gardens, Croydon was charged with supplying Class A drugs (cocaine) and five counts of handling stolen goods.

[D] Tobias Smith, 21 (14.04.1998) of Stowell Avenue, New Addington was charged with four counts of supplying Class A drugs (cocaine), one count of offering to supply cocaine and one count of selling/transfering a firearm on 21 February.

[E] Deon Smith, 30 (15.04.1989) of Albert Road, Croydon was charged with three counts of supplying Class A drugs, namely cocaine.

[F] Travis Lee, 24 (08.07.1985) of Clifford Road, Croydon was charged with four counts of supplying Class A drugs, namely cocaine, and a further two counts of Class A drugs, namely MDMA.

[G] Tyler Brown, 25 (29.04.1994) of Dunsfold Way, Croydon was charged with conspiracy to supply a firearm, supplying a Class A drug (cocaine) and supplying a firearm.

[H] George Joseph Dudek, 19 (10.09.2000) of Frensham Drive, Croydon was charged with conspiracy to supply a firearm.

C, D, E, F, G and H have been remanded in custody to appear at Kingston Crown Court on 16 October.

[I] Mustafar Omar, 32 (09.05.1987) of Frensham Drive, Croydon was charged with six counts of supplying Class A drugs (cocaine) and one count of possession of criminal property (Proceeds of Crime Act).

[J] Melkior Beatrix, 18 (17.04.2001) of Laitwood Road, Battersea was charged with conspiracy to supply a prohibited weapon (firearm) and conspiracy to supply ammunition.

They have both pleaded guilty and are due to appear in custody at Kingston Crown Court on 16 October.

[K] Calvin Coley, 38 (14.04.1981) of Mountfield Close, Lewisham was charged with three counts of supplying Class A drugs (cocaine) and one count of supplying a firearm and ammunition.

[L] Kaine Lawal, 20 (08.02.1999) of Shawford Court, Putney was charged with one count of conspiracy to supply Class B drugs (cannabis) and two counts of supplying Class A drugs, namely heroin.

[M] Khalil Lawal, 19 (29.6.2000) of Shawford Court, Putney was charged with conspiracy to supply Class B drugs.

[N] German Benitez, 27 (18.06.1992) of Worsopp Drive, Lambeth was charged with conspiracy to supply Class A drugs, namely cocaine.

[O] Ricardo Campbell, 28 (28.11.1990) of Freke Road, Battersea was charged with two counts of supplying Class A drugs (cocaine) and one count of conspiracy to supply Class B drugs (cannabis).

[P] Bryce Hanson, 29 (23.10.1989) of Stanley Grove, Wandsworth was charged with conspiracy to supply Class A drugs, namely cocaine.

[Q] Akash Patel, 19 (26.06.2000) of Mantua Street, Wandsworth was charged with conspiracy to supply Class B drugs, two counts of supplying a Class A drug (heroin), one count of supplying a Class A drugs (MDMA), two counts of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs (ecstasy), one count of supplying a Class B drugs (cannabis), two counts of handling stolen goods and one count of concealing/disguising/transferring criminal property.

[R] Brian Gilbert, 27 (06.04.1992) of Gap Road, Wimbledon was charged with four counts of handling stolen goods, one count of being concerned in the supply of a Class B drug (cannabis), five counts of concealing/disguising/transfering criminal property, one count of selling/transferring a prohibited weapon/ammunition, one count of forging a registration mark/registration document and one count of making/supplying an article for use in fraud (Fraud Act 2006).

[S] Andrew Petrie, 46 (04.10.1972) of Bullen Street, Wandsworth was charged with two counts of handling stolen goods, one count of driving whilst disqualified and one count of no insurance.

[T] Carvhello Muhongo, 23 (09.06.1996) of Lambeth was charged with supplying a firearm on 9 September.

K, L, M, N, O, P, Q, R, S and T have been remanded in custody to appear at Kingston Crown Court on 16 October.

[U] A 17-year-old boy from the Wandsworth area was charged with two counts of handling stolen goods, one count of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs (heroin), and one count of concealing/disguising/transferring criminal property.

He has been bailed to attend Kingston Crown Court on 16 October.

[V] Stephanie Newman, 31 (19.11.1987) of Frensham Drive, Croydon was charged with conspiracy to supply a firearm on 11 June.

She has been bailed to appear at Kingston Crown Court on 16 October.

[W] A 16-year-old from Wandsworth was charged with manufacturing/selling a firearm. He has been bailed to appear at Kingston Crown Court on 16 October.

[X] Shaun Walters, 46 (10.10.1972) of Warbank Crescent, New Addington was charged with supplying Class B drugs, namely cannabis.

He has since pleaded not guilty and has been remanded to appear in custody at Kingston Crown Court on 16 October.

[Y] Cleopatra Marcus, 23 (12.10.1995) of Castleton Close, Croydon was charged with supplying Class B drugs, namely cannabis. She has been bailed to appear at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court on 3 October.

[Z] Mohammed Nadif, 24 (17.08.1995) of Pembury Road, SE25 was charged with three counts of supplying Class A drugs, namely cocaine. He appeared at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court on 21 September and has been remanded in custody to appear at Kingston Crown Court on 16 October.

[A1] A 17-year-old boy from the Hounslow area was charged on 21 September with three counts of supplying class A drugs (heroin), He appeared at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court and has since been remanded to appear at Kingston Crown Court on 16 October.
