Two juveniles have been charged after a car was stopped on Langston Road in Loughton.
A 15-year-old-boy [A] from Wood Green was charged with possession of Class B drugs (cannabis); failing to stop a mechanically propelled vehicle when required by a constable; aggravated vehicle taking and dangerous driving; driving a motor vehicle otherwise than in accordance with a licence; using a motor vehicle on a road without third party insurance; and, driving a mechanically propelled vehicle on a road without due care and attention.
A second 15-year-old-boy [B] also from Wood Green was charged with aggravated vehicle taking and dangerous driving; and, allowing to be carried in /on a motor vehicle taken without the owner’s consent.
They have been bailed to appear at Highbury Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, 31 October.
Two 14-year-old girls [C and D], who were arrested on suspicion of possession of a bladed article and allowing themselves to be carried in a stolen car, have been released under investigation.
The charges follow an attempted stop of a car in Enfield at approximately 09:25hrs on Saturday, 28 September. The vehicle failed to stop for police before colliding with a number of vehicles on Langston Road.
