Detectives investigating the murder of 15-year-old Tashaûn Aird in Hackney have charged a third teenager.
A 15-year-old male [C] who was arrested on Friday, 7 June in connection with the investigation has now been charged with three offences.
He has been remanded to appear at Thames Magistrates’ Court on Saturday, 8 June accused of murder, GBH with intent and possession of an offensive weapon
A 16-year-old male [B] was charged earlier on Friday, 7 June with the murder of Tashaûn and GBH with intent in relation to a second victim. He was also charged with possession of an offensive weapon and possession of cannabis.
He appeared at Stratford Youth Court earlier today, Friday, 7 June and was remanded in custody to next appear at the Old Bailey on Tuesday, 11 June.
[A] Romaine Williams-Reid, 18 (28.04.01) of Erith Crescent, Romford was charged on Monday, 6 May with murder and grievous bodily harm. He will next appear in custody at the Old Bailey on Thursday, 25 July.
