Officer’s from the Met’s Operation Venice Command have charged a man and woman who were arrested on Friday, 3 April on suspicion of being involved in the theft of mobile phones from members of the public using a stolen motorcycle.
Marie Hedges, 49 [20.03.71] of no fixed address was charged on Saturday, 4 April with aggravated vehicle theft, dangerous driving and possession of a Class A drug.
Damien Duce, 44 [20.10.75] of Hibbert Road, Harrow was charged on Saturday, 4 April with aggravated vehicle theft, dangerous driving, failing to stop for police, driving without a valid licence or insurance.
Both were remanded in custody following arrest to appear at Westminster Magistrates Court on Saturday, 4 April where they were dealt with as follows:
Hedges pleaded guilty to possession of Class A drugs and was issued with a fine of £100. She was released on bail to appear at Kingston upon Thames Crown Court on Friday, 1 May in relation to the remaining charges.
Duce was released on bail to appear at Kingston upon Thames Crown Court on Friday, 1 May.
