Detectives investigating the fatal shooting of Chad Gordon charged a man.
Clive Spencer, 23 (22.11.96) of Ermine Road, N15, was charged on Friday, 29 May with murder and assisting an offender.
He appeared in custody at Highbury Corner Magistrates' Court on the morning of Saturday, 30 May. He was remanded to appear at the Central Criminal Court on Tuesday, 2 June.
Officers were called at 20:22hrs on Monday, 18 May to an address on Wiltshire Gardens, N4 following reports that shots had been fired and a man injured.
Both armed and local officers attended the scene along with the London Ambulance Service and found 27-year-old Chad suffering from a gunshot wound to his head. Despite the best efforts of emergency services, Chad was pronounced dead at the scene.
A post-mortem examination took place at Haringey Mortuary on Thursday, 21 May and gave cause of death as a gunshot wound.
Chad’s family are being supported by specialist officers.
