A man has been charged following a fatal stabbing in Kentish Town.
Dwayne Stewart-Akers, 37 (16.05.83) of Highgate Road, NW5 was charged on Thursday, 18 February with the murder of Jack Ampadu.
He appeared at Highbury Magistrates’ Court and will next appear in custody at the Old Bailey on Monday, 22 February.
Police were called to Highgate Road, NW5 shortly before 19:40hrs on Monday, 15 February.
Officers attended alongside the London Ambulance Service and found a man suffering from stab wounds. Despite the best efforts of paramedics, the man died at the scene.
He has been named as 37-year-old Jack Ampadu. His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by officers.
