Man charged with murder in Merton

Detectives investigating the death of a man in Merton have charged a man with murder.

[B] Mongo Bolili, 33 (12.09.87) of Merton has been charged with the murder of 41-year-old Paul Dalton from Merton.

Mr Dalton was found with fatal stab injuries after police were called to an address on The Broadway in Wimbledon at 00:55hrs on Wednesday, 13 January.

A second man, [C] Ian Matu, 26 (15.03.94) of Merton has been charged with perverting the cause of justice.

They are both due to appear at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on Friday, 15 January.

A 53-year-old man [A] who was also arrested on suspicion of murder has been released on bail to a date in early February.
