A man wanted by police after ramming his Lamborghini into a police vehicle, injuring four officers, has been arrested.
The 30-year-old man was arrested on Tuesday, 13 October at an address in the Isle of Dogs, east London after a targeted operation by Specialist Crime South proactive teams, supported by officers on the South East Command Unit.
He was arrested on suspicion of assault on police, kidnap and blackmail.
A 30-year-woman also present at the address was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.
They have both been bailed to a date in mid-November.
The man was sought by police after he crashed his Lamborghini Urus into a police vehicle on Broadway in Bexleyheath on Monday, 5 October whilst trying to evade capture.
Four officers suffered whiplash injuries as a result.
