Officers from the Met's Counter Terrorism Command have today, 10 October, arrested a woman in north-west London on suspicion of terrorism offences.
The woman, aged 36, was detained under section 41 of the Terrorism Act 2000 after officers attended an address in north-west London. The arrest on suspicion of terrorism, is believed to be Islamist-related.
The woman remains in custody at a south London police station.
As part of the investigation, officers are searching two residential addresses in north-west London.
