Woman charged with perverting the course of justice in murder investigation

A woman has been charged with perverting the course of justice as part of the investigation into the murder of two men in Ilford.

Aurika Sivolova, 53 (19.07.67) of Prince Regent Lane, Plaistow, E13 was charged via postal requisition notice on Monday, 15 February with committing an act/series of acts with intent to pervert the course of public justice. She is due to appear at Barkingside Magistrates' Court on Friday, 28 May.

+ Both victims were found suffering stab injuries at an address in Tavistock Gardens, Ilford on Sunday, 10 January.

Post mortem examinations at East Ham Mortuary on Tuesday, 12 January found the cause of death for both men was stab injuries.

Both the deceased are Lithuanian nationals – their next of kin have been informed.

Vytautas Garmus, 51 (04.07.69) of Prince Regent Lane, E13 appeared at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, 13 January charged with the murders of Dainius Kulboka, 44 and Jonas Semenas, 45.

He is next due to appear in custody at the Old Bailey on Monday, 4 March.

Garmus is a Georgian national.
