A Misconduct Hearing on Tuesday, 16 April 2024 found that a former officer would have been dismissed if he were still serving.
Misconduct has been proven against a former officer after a hearing found he acted inappropriately towards a female colleague.
Arif Ahmet Alidov, 51 (20.06.73) from Edmonton, was found guilty following a trial at Wood Green Crown Court on 29 January of attempted murder, threats to kill, assault with intent to rob, possession of an offensive weapon, ABH, and strangulation.
The officer was taken to hospital by the London Ambulance Service. He is in a stable condition.
