Additional CCTV footage released as reward of up to £20,000 offered two years after fatal shooting in Kilburn

Detectives investigating the murder of 28-year-old Tikquaan Stephenson-Walters are releasing new CCTV footage, two years after his death.

A reward of up to £20,000 is also being offered by Crimestoppers for information that leads to the conviction of the person or people responsible for his murder.

At around 23:05hrs on Wednesday, 4 September 2024, Tikquaan was shot at close range by a suspect riding a white Honda moped in Bravington Road, Kilburn.

Officers attended alongside the London Ambulance Service and found Tikquaan suffering from gunshot injuries. Despite the best efforts of emergency services, he unfortunately died at the scene.

Detective Chief Inspector Wayne Jolley, from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command, said: “We are marking two years since Tikquaan was fatally shot and our thoughts remain with his loved ones at this difficult time.

“We are now reiterating our appeal to members of the public who may have any information about the attack to come forward, particularly anyone we have not yet spoken to. We are releasing additional footage today of a man captured on CCTV in the area shortly before the attack took place, in the hope someone recognises him or his vehicle.

“We continue to pursue all lines of enquiry in this case and are determined to hold those responsible to account. We have already made four arrests in connection with Tikquaan’s murder and enquiries remain ongoing.

Tikquaan’s family, who continue to be supported by specialist officers, said: “The family and community are utterly broken by the devastating loss of such a special, innocent life. This heartbreaking tragedy serves as a reminder that Tikquaan could have been anyone’s son, brother, nephew, or friend.

“Your information could be the key to bringing justice for Tikquaan and providing closure to his grieving family, friends, and our community.”

The reward is due to expire on Thursday, 19 November 2026. Information passed directly to the police will not qualify for a reward from the charity Crimestoppers.
