Appeal for information following fatal collision in Enfield
Detectives are appealing for witnesses following a fatal collision in Enfield.
Police were called at 06:18hrs on Friday, 6 February, to reports of a road traffic collision between a van and a pedestrian on Turkey Street, EN3.
Officers attended alongside the London Ambulance Service and the London Air Ambulance. A 22-year-old man was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital.
Despite the best efforts of medical staff, the man sadly died in hospital. His next of kin has been informed and are being supported by specialist officers from the Met’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit.
The driver stopped at the scene and has been assisting police with enquiries. No arrests have been made at this stage and enquiries are ongoing.
A Met Police spokesperson said: “Our thoughts are with those affected by this incident and our investigation remains ongoing.
“We continue to review all footage as part of our enquiries and are now asking the public to come forward with any relevant information that could assist us.”
