Appeal for information following Tottenham robbery that left man with broken shoulder

Police have released an image of a man they wish to speak to in connection with a violent robbery that occurred on Thursday, 14 August, in Haringey.

Officers were called at 06:00hrs to Williamson Road, Tottenham, following reports that a man had been beaten, stripped naked, and robbed.

On arrival, officers found a 47-year-old man who reported being threatened at knifepoint by an unknown suspect at a cash machine.

The victim was forced to withdraw money before being assaulted and stripped naked.

The suspect then stole all of the victim’s belongings.

The suspect is described as a white male, aged around 30, 5ft10ins tall, with dirty blond hair. He was wearing a purple jacket, three-quarter length shorts, and dark Nike Air Max 95 trainers.

He was carrying a green backpack, and had a pair of headphones around his neck.

Detective Constable David Medeck, who is investigating the incident, said: “We have released this image of a man we would like to speak to following this horrific robbery. Despite extensive efforts to trace him, we now need the public’s help.

“If you know or recognise this man, please contact us immediately.”
