Appeal for witnesses to shooting in Enfield

Detectives are appealing for witnesses and information after a shooting in Enfield.

Police were called in the early hours of Sunday, 8 September to a hospital after a 25-year-old man self-presented with a gunshot injury. He continues to receive treatment for his injury which is not believed to be life-threatening.

Detectives from the Specialist Crime Command are investigating. They have established that the victim was shot in a park in the vicinity of Montagu Road, N18 between 01:00 and 02:00hrs.

Detectives would like to speak with anyone who was in the area at the time of the shooting, or who may have captured the incident on their dash cam.
