Appeal to trace missing woman from Hackney

Police are appealing for information following the disappearance of 23-year-old Leyla who has been missing since Sunday, 21 July from the Hackney area.

Detective Inspector Conrad Trotman said: "We are concerned for the welfare of Leyla and are working tirelessly to locate her.

"Leyla was last seen by a member of public on Sunday, 21 July at 22:00hrs near Springfield Crossing Bridge over the River Lea E5. Leyla was wearing all black, a long sleeved top and trousers.

"Leyla is a white woman, with shoulder length, two tone black and blue hair.

"Leyla, if you see this please reach out to us or attend your local station - we want to ensure you are safe and well."
