Four arrested following fatal shooting in Clapham
Met detectives investigating the murder of Kyrone Moodie have made four arrests.
Four men, aged 25, 26, 27 and 28, were arrested on Wednesday, 24 September on suspicion of conspiracy to murder. They remain in police custody.
On Monday, 8 September at 20:50hrs police were called to reports of a shooting on New Park Road, Clapham.
Officers attended alongside emergency services who treated Kyrone, 27, before taking him to hospital, where he sadly died the next day. Another 20-year-old man was also injured.
Detective Chief Inspector Sarah Lee, who is leading the investigation, said: “These arrests mark a significant step as my team continue to probe the murder of Kyrone.
“We are working at pace to establish exactly what led to this tragic incident. Kyrone’s family are also receiving support from specialist officers.
“I know the community remain concerned about this incident and residents can expect to see a continued police presence at the scene of the crime over the next few days.”
