Image released of man after linked stabbings in Enfield

Police are releasing an image of a man they want to speak to following two linked knife incidents in Enfield.

Officers were called at 14:26hrs on Saturday, 2 March to Edmonton Shopping Centre to reports of a man with a knife.

Officers searched the area but found those involved had left prior to police arrival.

On viewing CCTV, officers found the man had been stabbed in an altercation with another male who was also armed with a machete.

While they were on scene, police received another call to Hertford Road to a man with a stab injury.

They established he was the man who had been stabbed at the shopping centre.

He was taken to hospital. Thankfully his condition is not life-threatening.

Enquiries to trace the other man are ongoing. Police have released an image of him.
