Man charged in connection with stabbing in Romford

Detectives investigating a stabbing in Romford have charged a man.

We were called at 12:53hrs on Tuesday, 20 February to reports of a stabbing in the car park of The Brewery.

Officers responded and found a man in his 20s had taken himself to hospital with a stab wound. His condition was assessed as not life-threatening.

Following enquiries, Admad Samadi, 27 (01.03.96), of Bow Road, E3, was charged with grievous bodily harm with intent and possession of an offensive weapon.

He appeared at Barkingside Magistrates' Court on Thursday, 22 February. We await details of his next court hearing.

Our investigation continues and any witnesses who have not yet spoken with officers are asked to call 101 quoting CAD 3260/20Feb.
