Man charged with conspiracy to murder after extradition from Switzerland

A man has been charged with conspiracy to murder after he was extradited from Switzerland.

Stewart Ahearne, 46 (21.08.78) of no fixed address, has been charged in connection with a shooting in Malvern Drive, Woodford Green, on 11 July 2019.

The 45-year-old victim has been left with serious, life-changing injuries as a result of the shooting.

Ahearne, who was extradited back to the UK on 21 March, is due to appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court on 22 March.

A second man has also been charged with conspiracy to murder in connection with the same incident.

Daniel Kelly, 46 (26.10.78) of no fixed address, is due to appear at Barkingside Magistrates Court on Wednesday, 27 March
