Man charged with Croydon murder

A man has been charged with the murder of Rijkaard Siafa in Croydon.

David Walcott, 34, (18.08.89) of Turle Road, Norbury was charged with murder on Saturday, 20 April. He will appear at Bromley Magistrates’ Court later on 20 April.

He had been arrested in the early hours of Friday, 19 April, by officers investigating the murder. Their investigation was launched after police were called at around 18:00hrs on 12 April to reports of a stabbing in Fellmongers Yard, Croydon.

Rijkaard’s family have been updated with this development and continue to be supported by specially trained officers.
