Man charged with damaging ULEZ camera

A man has been charged with criminal damage of a ULEZ camera in Hillingdon.

Matthew Houston, 43 (7.05.80) of Uxbridge, was charged after an incident on Monday, 29 January when paint was sprayed on a camera in Long Lane.

He was arrested in nearby Hercies Road a short time later.

Houston has also been charged with having an article (a spray paint can) with intent to cause criminal damage and assault on an emergency worker after an officer was injured during his arrest.

Houston appeared at Ealing Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, 30 January.

He was released on bail to appear at Isleworth Crown Court on Wednesday, 28 February.
