Man charged with murder following death of 40-year-old woman

A 43-year-old man has been charged with murder following the death of a woman in east London.

Augustinas Druskis, 43 (07.09.1982) of Cranham Road, Hornchurch will appear at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 20 October.

The charge relates to the death of a 40-year-old woman at a property in Havering. While formal identification has yet to take place, she has been named as Agne Druskienea.

Paramedics from the London Ambulance Service called officers to a stabbing at a residential property in Cranham Road, Hornchurch at 01:04hrs on Saturday, 18 October. Despite the best efforts of emergency workers, Agne was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

Agne’s next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.

The man – who was married to the victim – was arrested at the scene.
