Man charged with murder over death of 82-year-old in Camden

A man has been charged with murder after an 82-year-old man died at a property in Camden on Thursday, 5 March.

Billy O'Reilly, 53 (27.11.1972), of Royal Free Square, Islington, was charged with murder on Friday, 6 March. He will appear at Westminster Magistrates Court on Saturday, 7 March.

The charge relates to an incident in West End Lane, NW6 at around 11:25hrs on Thursday, 5 March.

Officers responded to concerns for the welfare of an 82-year-old man - when they arrived at the house, paramedics from the London Ambulance Service had confirmed he had died.

The arrest took place inside the property, within minutes of police arriving on scene.
