A man has been charged with a murder in Dagenham.
A murder investigation has been launched following the death of a man in east London.
Trevelle Rowland, 33 (15.01.91), of Cornelia Street, N7, is due to appear at Thames Magistrates' Court today, Tuesday, 26 March.
The suspect was identified as 28-year-old Daniel Jordan after DNA analysis revealed he was a known offender.
A man convicted of rape and sexual assault has been jailed for 15 years after the teenage victim and her friend bravely gave evidence to support the case.
Officers would like to speak with anyone who was in the area of Rainham Road South or who has information that could assist police.
