Local officers in the south-west of the capital will lead the way, using ‘Met Engage’ - a subscription email service - to share updates and crime prevention advice.
Superintendent Owen Renowden, the Met’s hate crime lead said: "I urge anyone who may have been targeted, or may have crucial information that will help us with our enquiries, to contact us as soon as possible."
