Teenager charged with murder of Pharrell Garcia in Hackney

A teenager has been charged after a boy was murdered in Hackney

Police were called at around 16.05hrs on Tuesday, 23 July to Stellman Close, E5 to reports of a stabbing.

Despite the best efforts of emergency services a 15-year-old boy, who has been named as Pharrell Garcia, sadly died.

A 15-year-old boy – who cannot be named for legal reasons – has been charged with murder. He has been remanded and will appear at Stratford Youth Court on Friday, 26 July.
