Third person charged following fatal stabbing in Southwark

Detectives investigating a fatal stabbing in Southwark have charged a third person with murder.

Fabeo Alexandru De Sousa Pinto De Oliviera, 35 (25.09.88) of no fixed address, will appear at Bromley Magistrates’ Court today, Wednesday, 7 February, charged with the murder of Carlton McCloud on Saturday, 13 January.

Two others have previously been charged with murder as part of the investigation.

Matthew Henry, 39 (06.12.84) of Coopers Road SE1 and Nicole Quamina, 34 (27.06.89) of no fixed address appeared at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on Saturday, 13 January. They will next appear at Inner London Crown Court on Thursday, 28 March.

At around 06:50hrs on Tuesday, 9 January, police were called to reports of an injured man on Old Kent Road, SE1.

Officers attended but despite the efforts of the emergency services, Carlton died at the scene. His next of kin are being supported by specialist officers.

A post-mortem examination found the cause of death to be sharp force trauma to the chest.
