Three charged in connection with Thornton Heath murder

Three men have been charged with murder following the death of a 23-year-old man in Croydon.

Officers were called to Livingstone Road, Thornton Heath at 04:52hrs on Thursday, 9 July following reports of an assault.

No trace of any victim or suspects were found at the scene. Shortly afterwards, a 23-year-old man self-presented at hospital with injuries consistent with a stab wound and sadly died.

He has since been named as Matheus Dos Santos Mori. His family are aware and continue to be supported by specialist officers.

A murder investigation was launched, and three men were arrested the same day.

Rodrigo Gomes Da Silva, 38 (03.05.1988) Caio Vinicius, 28 (18.02.1998) and Weder Da Costa, 44 (27.03.1982) all of Prince Road, South Norwood, were charged with murder on Friday, 10 July. They will appear at Croydon Magistrates' Court on Saturday, 11 July.
