Three charged with murder following Westow Hill murder

Detectives investigating the murder of Kamahl Cameron-Williams have charged three men with murder.

The men, named below, were charged on Wednesday, 24 June and will appear at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, 25 June.

  • Isaiah Adio-Weathers, 23 (09.04.2003) of Evelyn Street, Lewisham
  • Amari Auguste-Francois, 21 (08.04.2005) of Malpas Road, Hackney
  • Ellis Shakiem, 23 (12.10.2002) of Denmark Road, Southwark

They were also charged with attempted murder. Auguste-Francois was additionally charged with possession of a bladed article.

The charges relate to the fatal stabbing of 31-year-old Kamahl, who died in Westow Road, Crystal Palace just after 04:00hrs on Sunday, 21 June, despite the best efforts of emergency services.

Four people – a 17-year-old boy and three men aged 19, 30 and 45 – who were arrested on suspicion of murder on Sunday, 21 June, have been bailed pending further enquiries.
