Three people charged following stabbing in Islington
A thorough and speedy investigation by detectives has led to three people being charged following a stabbing near Finsbury Park Station in Islington.
Police attended the scene at around 14:40hrs on Monday, 11 November and found a man with stab wounds.
Officers also recovered an axe and a flick knife from the scene.
The 20-year old man was taken to hospital for treatment by the London Ambulance Service, where his condition was treated as potentially life-changing. He is still being treated in hospital but is stable.
Two men and a boy were arrested shortly after the incident and have now been charged.
Mohamed Hussen Ali, 23 (21.04.01), of Lambton Road; Ali Hussein Ali, 26 (25.05.98), of no fixed address; and a 16-year-old boy have all been charged with violent disorder, possession of an offensive weapon and wounding with intent. They are all due to appear at Highbury Magistrates’ Court this afternoon.
