Two charged in connection with robbery offences

Two men have been charged in connection with a number of offences including a robbery at a jewellers in Sydney Street in Chelsea.

Thomas Loring – 40 (11.09.83) of Dunkery Road, SE9 and James Dixon – 41 (17.10.82) of no fixed abode have appeared in custody at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court on Friday, 21 June charged with:

- conspiracy to commit robbery between 25 February 2024 and 19 June 2024;
- conspiracy to steal between 25 February 2024 and 19 June 2024;
- robbery in Old Kent Road, SE1 on 19 June 2024;
- possession of an offensive weapoin.

Loring has also been charged with possession of a class B drug.

The pair were remanded in custody to next appear at Kingston Crown Court on 18 July.

Both men were arrested by detectives from the Met’s Flying Squad on Wednesday, 19 June as part of an investigation into a number of robberies including an incident in Sydney Street, SW3 on 26 March.
