Two people charged with robberies after incidents around Wandsworth Common

Two people have appeared in court charged with a number robberies on Wandsworth Common following detailed investigation by Met detectives.

We were recently alerted to a series of robberies around Wandsworth Common.

Those responsible were targeting people with mobile phones or stealing their bank cards.

Our specialist robbery squad worked around the clock to identify those we believe are responsible.

Two males have been charged with multiple robbery offences committed on two dates in June 2024.

We continue to hunt a third man we believe was involved.

Our officers are targeting the most prolific offenders in this area and are using data and specialist tactics to bring them to justice.
