Two sought following double stabbing in Newham

Met detectives are releasing images and video of two males sought following a double stabbing in Forest Gate

At 23:35hrs on Wednesday, 20 March police were called to Woodgrange Road, E7 following reports of a stabbing.

When officers attended the scene, they located two victims who had suffered multiple stab wounds.

CCTV showed two young men approaching the victims before stabbing them. The suspects then fled towards Forest Gate BR Station.

After the two men were taken to hospital, their injuries were confirmed to be non-life threatening.

Detective Constable Ben Dailey from the policing team covering Newham said: “We have exhausted all lines of enquiry and we are now asking for the public’s help. It is important that these men are identified as soon as possible.

"While we know the images are not of the greatest quality, we think there is a chance someone might recognise them.

"Were you a witnesses to this stabbing? Were you in the area on Wednesday, 20 March? If so, then please come forward to police by calling 101 stating 8276/20MAR24 to help us identify the two suspects."
