Witnesses sought following fatal collision in Palmers Green

Detectives are appealing for witnesses and information following a fatal collision in Palmers Green.

Police were called at approximately 17:20hrs on Sunday, 1 September to reports of a collision between a van and a pedestrian in Green Lanes, N13.

Officers and London Ambulance Service attended and the pedestrian was taken to hospital for treatment. Sadly, the man – aged in his 50s – later died in hospital.

Enquiries are ongoing to identify and inform his next of kin.

The driver of the van stopped at the scene.

No arrests have been made at this time and enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing.
