Woman charged in connection with fatal Wembley shooting
A woman is due in court charged in connection with the fatal shooting of 18-year-old Tyrece Balcha.
Shainae Morris, 29 (29.01.1996), of Oppenheim Road, Blackheath, has been charged with perverting the course of justice and possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life. She is due before Croydon Magistrates' Court on Friday, 16 January, for a first hearing.
Police were called at 05:27hrs on Sunday, 21 September to Atlantic Crescent, Wembley, following reports of a shooting outside a bar.
Officers attended and found 18-year-old Tyrece, who had been shot. He was taken to hospital, and sadly died on Thursday, 25 September.
Four other people have already been charged with murder:
- Ashley Wallace, 40 (08.08.1985), of Shenley Road, Southwark
- Adem Altindal 33 (30.11.1992) of Wood Green, Haringey
- Rafael Reveane Rodriguez, 39 (01.07.1986) of Middleton Road, Morden
- Dennis Gambrah, 33 (02.11.1992) of Dressington Avenue, Lewisham
They are due before the Old Bailey for a hearing on Friday, 6 March.
