Woman charged with murder following discovery of man’s body in Leicester
A woman has been charged with murder and perverting the course of justice after the body of a man was recovered in Leicester.
Harinder Kaur, 39 (26.01.1987) of Sutton Dene, Hounslow, was charged on Tuesday, 2 June.
She will appear at Leicester Magistrates’ Court later the same day.
The charges relate to the death of a man, believed to be in his 30s, who was discovered in the back of a van in Garden Street, Leicester at 17:30hrs on Wednesday, 27 May. The van was registered to an address in west London and on Friday, 29 March a 39-year-old woman was arrested in Hounslow.
Work is ongoing to confirm the identity of the man and inform his next-of-kin.
Anyone with relevant information, particularly doorbell or dashcam footage that may have captured a white Ford Transit with the registration BF18 VNV travelling to Leicester from London, is asked to contact police via 101, quoting 9873/28MAY.
